In this week's selection of films and shows on Amazon Prime, a father and son share both a complicated relationship and a passion for the game of golf, which they work to build into the game we know today. A young woman does her best to navigate the high school realities of romance, friendship, and peer pressure while trying to avoid her over-protective mother. Finally, an Agatha Christie novel comes to life as a private detective endeavors to uncover a killer when the patriarch of a wealthy family is murdered under the roof that he shares with that family.
- Tommy's Honour - This film tells the true story of the founding of the modern game of golf by Scottish golfing champions Old Tom Morris and Young Tom Morris. The movies explores the complicated relationship between father and son and mistakes that are made that have lasting consequences for them both.
- LOL - A young woman tries to balance friendship, romance, and peer pressure. Her over-protective mother, freshly divorced, meanwhile, strives to find love again while trying not to lose touch with her ever-more-distant daughter.
- Crooked House - Based on Agatha Christie's novel of the same name, this film follows a private investigator, Charles as he works to find a killer amongst a large, well-to-do family who all live together in a massive, misshapen house. One among them has killed the family patriarch, and Charles must look past the obvious suspects and divine the true motive for the shocking crime.
Looking ahead
This week's new additions to Amazon's Prime Video lineup starts with the second season of The Durrells in Corfu, which follows the continuing stay of the eccentric Durrell family on the Greek island of Corfu. There's also Let There Be Light, a drama about an atheist who's convictions are challenged by an experience that left him dead for four minutes and that causes him to attempt to reconnect with his estranged family.
- The Durrells in Corfu - Season 2 - This season of the family drama continues to follow the Durrell family as they begin to full embrace life on the Greek island of Corfu. The eccentric group, which includes windowed Louisa and her young children, puts down roots in the island's community, as Louisa fields romantic overtures from two potential suitors. Arrives March 26.
- Let There Be Light - A famous atheist and anti-theist struggles with his own beliefs after an accident causes him to experience something that he could define as spiritual. On his journey to recovery, he ponders what he saw while clinically dead for four minutes, while also working to reconcile with his family. Arrives March 26.
